About Seller Saga
My girlfriend loves livestreams and selling on TikTok and Shopee, so I made a game to tease her about it. She played it too.
Seller Saga turns online selling into a pixel-art RPG. You start with a small shop setup, choose products, and build a team of livestream hosts, video editors, warehouse managers, and other helpers. Phones, ring lights, microphones, and label printers become your equipment.
Each battle has two parts: attract buyers, then pack their orders before the shipping deadline. Tapping helps bring in attention and clear the packing queue, while your products, staff, and upgrades improve what the store can handle. More orders are exciting until you have to ship them all.
The enemies come from familiar selling frustrations. Refundzilla recovers through returned orders, the Copycat Merchant borrows your strongest product’s appeal, and the One-Star Review Dragon attacks your reputation. Even equipment has its complications: the Cursed Label Printer speeds up packing at the cost of more mistakes.
Three fictional platforms—MegaMall, ClipCast, and QuickCart—put different weight on search traffic, viral attention, and delivery speed. As you progress, you unlock more products, helpers, equipment, and sales tactics. Local saves preserve progress, offline earnings reward returning players, and "Launch New Brand" lets you start another run with lasting bonuses and a different brand identity.
Built with Godot 4 and GDScript, the game uses a portrait layout with English and Thai language options, adjustable text size, high contrast, and reduced motion. A personal project built around a shared joke, with plenty of shopkeeping chaos.
