WordPress SEO fixes delivered behind an agency

The agreed WordPress changes made and checked while the agency kept the end-client relationship: a Search Console property established, the sitemap confirmed, the homepage canonical and metadata corrected, and priority service pages updated inside the existing theme.

Agency work. I was the implementation behind an agency rather than talking to the end client. Names and dates are withheld.

What the agency needed

The agreed changes live and checked, and documented well enough that they could hand the work over and answer questions about it without coming back to me.

What was wrong

  • Search Console setup and sitemap visibility needed attention.
  • The homepage canonical, title, description and heading needed correcting.
  • Priority service pages needed metadata changes inside the existing theme and plugin setup — no redesign, no new plugin.

What I changed

  • Established the Search Console property and confirmed the sitemap was being read.
  • Corrected the agreed homepage canonical, title, description and H1.
  • Updated the agreed service-page metadata inside the existing WordPress setup.

How I checked it

I checked the homepage and service-page output against the agreed task list, and recorded the Search Console property and processed-sitemap checks. The job closed with a public five-star review covering the work, the revisions and the documentation.

What it doesn't prove

This was work delivered behind an agency, not a direct engagement. I don't report search or lead outcomes for it.
